TAK anyone?

Yesterday I had the pleasure of joining Danielle of Creation Fitness for her daily TAK - TODAY'S ASS KICKIN'.  I have been following Danielle and her TAKers for over a year now, but had never gotten a chance to join them in person for a workout.  I had a great time visiting and working out with her and Shaun.
Danielle's weightloss and fitness journey is inspiring; I know it inspired me. Its been just over two years since she started and her transformation is incredible.  She shares that "Getting fit is simple in theory. Eat right. Exercise. Every day. That's it." She has built Creation Fitness out of a heartfelt desire to share what she has learned in her journey. Her website has great tools to help anyone get started and she shares her daily workouts on her Facebook page and on her TAK app.  Most of the workouts can be scaled to do without equipment, or with minimal equipment; and she has links to video demonstrations of all of the exercises.
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Hebrews 12:11-12

The workout we did yesterday was challenging, starting from the warm up (WU) 100 BURPEES; you are reading correctly ~ 100 Burpees.  And I guess TAK was just what I needed, last night I had one of the best nights sleep I've had in a while.

Danielle regularly films her workouts so that they can review them for proper form. She makes them fun by putting them to music and uploads them to her YouTube channel.  Here's yesterday's.

I hope that this is not the first and last time I join them, but rather the first of many.  I had a great time and look forward to doing it again.  Thanks again ladies!!!

  1. Wow, thanks so much, Ana, for the very nice blogpost/review of TAK! I'm so happy you were able to join us. It's amazing that I inspired you in some way, and now seeing you 40 lbs. lighter and super fit, you are inspiring me - and so many others (maybe without you even knowing it). I hope you will join us again often - you are welcome any time!(And for all your readers: Ana completed 100 burpees in an impressive 10:11!)
